Michelle Porteous

Michelle is a well-known and respected figure in the Foothills community, serving as the familiar and friendly face of Rampage Volleyball Centre.

With over 15 years of experience coaching at all levels, from development and grassroots to club, Michelle has a deep understanding of player growth and development. She is passionate about providing a positive and enriching experience for all athletes. You can often find Michelle visiting program locations in the Foothills area, ensuring the highest quality of instruction and a supportive environment for all. 

Linda Phan

Linda is the Head Coach of the U12 Junior Rampage Team and coordinator for the Adult League. 

With over a decade of experience coaching volleyball at the development, grassroots, and club levels, Linda brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Prior to her involvement in volleyball, she enjoyed coaching soccer for U15-U17 athletes, developing strong leadership and teamwork skills. Rampage Volleyball Centre parents and league players will recognize Linda's name from various email communications received during the registration process for the many programs offered.

Adelle Herr

Adelle is the Grassroots and Academy coach in DeWinton.

Originally from Okotoks, she honed her skills on the court with 6 years of club volleyball experience. After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Animal Science, Adelle has returned home, ready to share her passion for volleyball and knowledge with young athletes. 

Allison Foley

Allison is the Grassroots and Academy coach in DeWinton. 

A registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Lethbridge, Allison brings a strong work ethic and dedication to her coaching. She is a former club volleyball player with four years of experience and has been actively involved in the sport for over a decade. This passion for volleyball, combined with her strong interpersonal skills, makes her an excellent coach for young athletes. 

Kyle Doornbosch

Kyle is the U12 Junior Rampage Team coach and also leads the Grassroots and Academy programs in DeWinton. 

A strong foundation in the sport, Kyle boasts a successful playing career with both Foothills Volleyball Club and Canada West Volleyball Club. He recently led the HTA senior boys team to a remarkable double championship victory in both league and zones in 2022, demonstrating his exceptional coaching abilities. 

Ryan Wright

Ryan is the Grassroots and Academy coach in High River.

A five-time member of Team Alberta in Track and Field, he recently returned home after competing at the Olympic Trials in Europe. 

As an aspiring Olympian, Ryan brings a unique perspective to coaching, drawing on his own experiences as a high-level athlete to emphasize dedication, discipline, and the importance of setting and achieving goals. He is passionate about inspiring young athletes to discover the joy of sport and develop a lifelong love of physical activity. 

Chalsdony Gaida

Chalsdony is the Grassroots coach in High River and Assistant Coach for the U12 team.

With years of experience as a swim instructor and her own background as a youth volleyball player, she is committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where young athletes can develop a love for the game while learning valuable life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. 

Nicolas Martinez

Nicolas is the Assistant Coach for the U12 Rampage Team. 

With a lifelong passion for volleyball, Nicolas began playing as a child and continued his competitive journey in Uruguay and Brazil. He brings a wealth of experience, having coached both male and female teams at various levels, including U15, U17, & U20.  He also served as a line referee at the South American Beach Volleyball Championships. 

Since arriving in Canada, Nicolas has shared his expertise by coaching at Senator Gershaw School in Bow Island during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
